Since 1982, John Beverley has worked exclusively helping people with debt challenges. After qualifying as a Management Accountant in Scotland in 1979, he moved to Canada in 1981. He is a Fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) in Europe, the highest honor bestowed upon members of the organization. In 1983 he became a member of the association of Certified Management Accountants of Canada (CMA), who now use the CPA designation.

Prior to the incorporation of John S. Beverley & Associates Inc., John spent 13 years with the International accounting firm, Deloitte & Touche.  Most recently he was their Vice-President in Prince George, responsible for the management of the insolvency department, serving all of Northern B.C.

After obtaining his License as a Trustee in Bankruptcy in 1988 when he was just 29 years old, he became one of the youngest Trustees in Canada at that time. Since then he has amassed a wide range of experience in all aspects of insolvency, having dealt with a variety of assignments in his many years of experience.

John takes pride in his work. Since 1994 he has been the President of Beverley & Associates Inc. and has helped over 10,000 people and companies to resolve their financial problems. He enjoys being able to help people put their problems behind them and get their financial matters back on a positive track. He knows that bankruptcy is not always your best option. He will look for alternatives and will happily advise you of all your options.

Maintaining an active role in his community and in the province, John is involved in various roles with the Chamber of Commerce, Kinsmen Club and the Junior Chamber/Jaycees, in which he is a Senator. He also participates in fundraising for the B.C. Children’s Hospital.
